I received an early morning wake up call from a gentleman alerting me to the fact that my car had been vandalized. Now this is the same car I’ve been trying to sell for a minute. I thought it refreshing that someone would take time out to show concern for another. There is hope! I inspected the damage and to my surprise it wasn’t as bad as the gentleman had described. It was only a case of smash and grab. Someone REALLY wanted a battery, so they smashed in the driver’s side window, popped open the hood and stole one. I’m thankful it wasn’t worse. Suggestion, next time just ask. Times are difficult, but even in difficult times we must trust God. I’m glad that I’ve matured enough not to allow such petty things to rattle my cage. The world is full of issues more deserving of my time, energy and emotions. However, I do wonder whether or not this crime was done out of greed or need? God only knows. Thank God for auto insurance which netted me a net profit of $650.00 for my pain and suffering.
