I recently wrote a song entitled “That One” which deals with falling short of fulfilling one’s purpose in life. Yes, I’m living my dream, but this road I’m traveling is full of slick willies and snakes. You have to be willing to endure all sorts of adversity just to move one step closer to realizing your dream. Sometimes you feel alone and misunderstood, but the truth is you’re never alone. I exist by faith and prayer. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. I, like you, can’t see the future, but continue to believe that “with God” all things are possible. Life is like a marathon. You’ve got to know your pace and stick with it, regardless of what is going on around you. Take all of the negativity in life and use it as fuel for the journey. Remember to always finish what you’ve started and go the distance.
