Even on my best day, I come up short in one area or another. I try not to beat myself up over mistakes of the past. I prefer to learn from my mistakes and apply what I’ve learned towards a more productive future. I have a love, dislike relationship with my father. I love the fact that he’s my father, but I dislike the fact that I have no clue of who he really is. I hope my daughter and I never end up that way.
